Soluble in Methanol, Ethanol, Acetone, Ethyl Acetate. Difficult to dissolve in **.
As the extract solvent, Acetone is used primitively to extract Silymarin since their introduction to China in 20th century. Compare to the Silymarin extracted by Ethanol and the Silymarin extracted by Ethyl Acetate, the yield of Silymarin extracted by Acetone is the highest, and the consuming of this specification is the biggest in the whole world.
